Description
VT-55 is mounted on the T-55 A chassis having a very strong protection against mass destruction firearms and a modernized main clutch. It is designed for locating, hitching and towing damaged combat equipment from the first line to a safe place or center of repairs where damaged equipment is concentrated. The tank even served to spare parts repairs in a terrain with the usage of a crain of 1600/200 kg. It was also frequently used during engineer activities being placed inbthe front line.
